class=\"unde-executive-grid__modal-bio\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Biographie<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>June Winger a amorc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re au sein de la fonction publique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale en 1999, \u00e0 la Section des lignes t\u00e9l\u00e9communications de la Base des Forces canadiennes Suffield, dans le cadre d\u2019une initiative visant \u00e0 \u00ab pr\u00e9senter les m\u00e9tiers aux femmes \u00bb. Mme Winger a ensuite travaill\u00e9 au Centre de technologie antiterroriste de RDDC Suffield \u00e0 titre de technologue en d\u00e9contamination peu apr\u00e8s que la section a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise sur pied \u00e0 la suite des attentats du 11 septembre 2001.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Devenue militante au sein de l\u2019Union des employ\u00e9s de la D\u00e9fense nationale (UEDN) en 1999, Mme Winger y a travaill\u00e9 comme d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9e syndicale et responsable des dossiers sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation et les droits de la personne \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle locale. Elle est aussi devenue facilitatrice de l\u2019UEDN, de l\u2019Alliance de la Fonction publique du Canada (AFPC) et du Programme d\u2019apprentissage mixte. Membre de la section locale 907 de RDDC, elle en a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue secr\u00e9taire pour un mandat de deux ans, puis pr\u00e9sidente. En 2011, Mme Winger a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue au sein de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de n\u00e9gociation des Services techniques de l\u2019AFPC, repr\u00e9sentant plus de 11 000 membres. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, elle a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue vice-pr\u00e9sidente de la R\u00e9gion de l\u2019Alberta et du Nord, repr\u00e9sentant les membres du Secteur de l\u2019Ouest de la Force terrestre (SOFT) et de RDDC \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale, en plus de si\u00e9ger au Comit\u00e9 des finances et au Comit\u00e9 des communications et de la formation de l\u2019UEDN.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Suivant le congr\u00e8s triennal de l&#039;UEDN en 2017, June est \u00e9lu Pr\u00e9sidente nationale. Il agit \u00e0 titre de copr\u00e9sident du Comit\u00e9 national d\u2019orientation en sant\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9 pour le minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale (MDN) et les Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes (FAC), et demeure r\u00e9solument engag\u00e9 \u00e0 b\u00e2tir un syndicat plus fort au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de tous les membres.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Originaire de Montr\u00e9al, au Qu\u00e9bec, James a entrepris sa carri\u00e8re dans la fonction publique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale en 2009 au minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale comme cuisinier GS-FOS-05 \u00e0 Kingston, en Ontario. Depuis, il a occup\u00e9 divers postes au Coll\u00e8ge militaire royal du Canada et travaille actuellement comme agent de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et de l\u2019environnement.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>James s\u2019est officiellement impliqu\u00e9 dans le militantisme syndical en 2013, apr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es \u00e0 apprendre aupr\u00e8s de d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s syndicaux exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s. La m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 syndical principal de la section locale 00641 de l\u2019UEDN, l\u2019une des plus importantes en Ontario. En 2014, alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tait un jeune travailleur comptant seulement cinq ann\u00e9es de service, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu premier vice-pr\u00e9sident et a exerc\u00e9 cette fonction pendant trois mandats cons\u00e9cutifs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Lors du congr\u00e8s triennal de l\u2019UEDN de 2021, James a agi \u00e0 titre de copr\u00e9sident du Comit\u00e9 des r\u00e9solutions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales et a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu vice-pr\u00e9sident ex\u00e9cutif suppl\u00e9ant. Son exp\u00e9rience pratique, son leadership et son engagement envers les membres ont fait de lui une voix respect\u00e9e au sein de l\u2019UEDN.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Steve a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re dans la fonction publique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale \u00e0 Parcs Canada, dans le nord du Manitoba, avant de se joindre \u00e0 Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada au Centre de recherche et de d\u00e9veloppement de St. John\u2019s. En 2016, il s\u2019est joint au minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale \u00e0 titre d\u2019agent des biens immobiliers au sein du G\u00e9nie de la construction, aujourd\u2019hui connu sous le nom d\u2019Op\u00e9rations immobili\u00e8res. Technicien certifi\u00e9 en chauffage, ventilation et climatisation (CVC) de m\u00e9tier, il a d\u2019abord fait ses premiers pas dans le mouvement syndical au sein de la United Association avant de s\u2019impliquer activement \u00e0 l\u2019Alliance de la Fonction publique du Canada (AFPC) et \u00e0 l\u2019UEDN.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Son engagement syndical a d\u00e9but\u00e9 \u00e0 Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada, o\u00f9 il a si\u00e9g\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ex\u00e9cutif de sa section locale \u00e0 titre de secr\u00e9taire. Apr\u00e8s son arriv\u00e9e au minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale, Steve a de nouveau assum\u00e9 plusieurs r\u00f4les de leadership, occupant successivement les fonctions de secr\u00e9taire, d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 syndical principal, vice-pr\u00e9sident et finalement pr\u00e9sident de sa section locale. Il a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019atelier RM comme m\u00e9canicien en CVCA certifi\u00e9 Sceau rouge et travaille depuis 18 ans \u00e0 la Section des contrats, o\u00f9 il effectue des inspections m\u00e9caniques.\nSon engagement syndical comprend environ 10 ann\u00e9es \u00e0 titre de vice-pr\u00e9sident et de pr\u00e9sident de sa section locale, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 titre de directeur provincial au Conseil r\u00e9gional de l\u2019Atlantique de l\u2019AFPC. Reconnue pour son approche ax\u00e9e sur les solutions, elle croit \u00e0 l\u2019importance d\u2019\u00e9couter les membres, de faire avancer concr\u00e8tement les dossiers et de ne laisser personne derri\u00e8re.\nElle travaille au minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale depuis 2008 comme tailleuse au magasin d\u2019habillement de la Garnison Valcartier. C\u2019est en 2015 qu\u2019elle commence \u00e0 s\u2019impliquer activement dans son syndicat, d\u2019abord au sein des comit\u00e9s de sant\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 au travail de son unit\u00e9 et comme repr\u00e9sentante syndicale de sa section locale.\nMotiv\u00e9e par les frustrations v\u00e9cues par ses coll\u00e8gues et par sa volont\u00e9 d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le climat et les conditions de travail, elle d\u00e9veloppe rapidement une expertise particuli\u00e8re en sant\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Elle compl\u00e8te l\u2019ensemble des formations du Programme de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale offertes par l\u2019employeur ainsi que plusieurs formations de l\u2019Alliance de la Fonction publique du Canada (AFPC). Elle approfondit \u00e9galement ses connaissances en \u00e9tudiant la r\u00e9glementation et la jurisprudence afin de mieux conseiller et repr\u00e9senter les membres.\nEn 2017, elle est nomm\u00e9e d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9e en sant\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de sa section locale. Dans ce r\u00f4le, elle agit comme conseill\u00e8re aupr\u00e8s des diff\u00e9rents comit\u00e9s de sant\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la Garnison Valcartier et copr\u00e9side deux comit\u00e9s locaux dans son unit\u00e9 de travail.\nSon engagement syndical prend rapidement de l\u2019ampleur. En 2018, elle est \u00e9lue deuxi\u00e8me vice-pr\u00e9sidente de sa section locale. En 2021, \u00e0 la suite du d\u00e9part de la pr\u00e9sidence et de la vice-pr\u00e9sidence, elle assume la pr\u00e9sidence par int\u00e9rim de la section locale.\nLa m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, lors du Congr\u00e8s triennal de l\u2019UEDN, elle est \u00e9lue vice-pr\u00e9sidente adjointe pour le Qu\u00e9bec, puis r\u00e9\u00e9lue \u00e0 ce poste au Congr\u00e8s de 2023. Elle \u00e9largit \u00e9galement son engagement au sein de l\u2019AFPC-Qu\u00e9bec en si\u00e9geant au Conseil de district 03, o\u00f9 elle occupe le poste de deuxi\u00e8me vice-pr\u00e9sidente en sant\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en 2023 et 2024.\nEn 2025, \u00e0 la suite du d\u00e9part \u00e0 la retraite du vice-pr\u00e9sident du Qu\u00e9bec, elle est nomm\u00e9e vice-pr\u00e9sidente de l\u2019UEDN pour le Qu\u00e9bec.\nDepuis ses d\u00e9buts comme militante, elle demeure guid\u00e9e par la m\u00eame volont\u00e9 : faire changer les choses concr\u00e8tement pour les membres. Always looking for a challenge, and with no family history in the Armed Forces, Shawn joined the Sea Cadets at 15 and remained involved until he aged out.\nAfter completing high school and looking at the career options available to him, Shawn decided that the military would be a good fit. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in the fall of 1990. Over the next 18 years, Shawn served at several postings, including Cornwallis, Nova Scotia; Kingston, Trenton, and Ottawa, Ontario, as well as completing a tour in the Middle East. His military career came to an end when he was medically released as a result of service-related injuries.\nAfter leaving the CAF, Shawn joined the Federal Public Service in December 2007. He quickly became involved in his union, believing that after spending so many years in an environment where he had little say, it was important to get involved and help make a difference.\nShortly after joining the public service, Shawn was elected Vice-President of then Local 70617 in the National Capital Region. In 2009, he was elected President of the Local, a position he held for 15 years. During this time, Shawn became a strong and well-known advocate throughout the NCR, fighting for workers&#039; rights, ensuring members had a voice, and defending their rights in the workplace.\nIn 2021, Shawn was elected Alternate Regional Vice-President for the National Capital Region, giving him the opportunity to broaden his understanding of the region and its operations. In 2023, he ran for and was elected Regional Vice-President for the NCR, and then re-elected in Aug of 2026, a position he continues to hold today.\nShawn remains actively involved in union education, training, and conferences. He believes that continuing to learn and develop is essential to effectively advocating for workers and ensuring members have a strong voice in the workplace.\nOutside of his union work, Shawn and his partner, Thomas, enjoy spending their time managing their small hobby farm outside the city. 17 Wing Winnipeg. Prior to joining the public service, she owned and operated her own business and managed a golf clubhouse with a $500,000 operating budget. After accepting a FOS-03 position, she became a representative on the UNDE General Services Committee, where she advocated on behalf of the SV Group and authored several business cases that successfully supported keeping public service jobs in-house. Drawing on her Business Administration degree, Mona made a career transition in 2016 to the PA Group administrative support team at 38 Canadian Brigade Group Headquarters.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>From the moment she joined the public service, Mona became actively involved in her union. Over the years, she has served in numerous local executive positions, including Education Officer, Secretary, Chief Shop Steward, Vice-President, and President. In 2014, she was elected Vice-President for Manitoba and Saskatchewan, a position she continues to hold, making her the longest-serving member of the National Executive. In this role, Mona currently represents members at the 3 Canadian Division Union-Management Consultation Committee (UMCC) and the Real Property Operations Unit (West). She also holds the national portfolios for RCAF L1 and L2, ADM(IE), and the Communications and Training Committee (COMTRA).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A passionate advocate for education, Mona has dedicated countless hours to union learning and member development. She is a graduate of the Canadian Labour Congress Labour College of Canada Certificate Program and is a certified UNDE, PSAC, and Joint Learning Program (JLP) facilitator. She firmly believes that education is fundamental to advancing equity and equality in both the workplace and the union. Mona recognizes that education empowers members by challenging barriers, building networks, sharing experiences, and equipping workers with the knowledge and confidence to understand, exercise, and defend their rights. She often says, &quot;A trained membership is an active membership, and active members build a strong union.&quot; Reflecting that commitment, Mona designed the new labour-management consultation training modules for Treasury Board, Non-Public Funds (NPF), and private sector locals, helping strengthen labour-management relations and build leadership capacity across the union.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Beyond her union responsibilities, Mona has made community service a lifelong priority. She has volunteered extensively with organizations supporting survivors of domestic violence and remains an active member of the PSAC Prairie Women&#039;s Committee. Throughout her career, she has advocated for workers&#039; rights by lobbying Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and municipal councillors on issues affecting working Canadians. She has also contributed her expertise at the bargaining table, serving on bargaining teams for both private sector locals and the SV Group, where she has worked tirelessly to improve wages, working conditions, and protections for members.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Mona exemplifies professionalism, respect, and integrity in everything she does. She is resourceful, highly organized, and deeply committed to empowering others by helping members build confidence, develop new skills, and recognize their own leadership potential. Her unwavering dedication to the labour movement and her commitment to serving members were recognized at the 2026 PSAC Prairies Regional Convention, where she was honoured with the Lifetime Member Award. non publics (FNP) et \u00e0 faire en sorte que les membres aient une voix forte dans leur milieu de travail. Elle est reconnue pour son engagement ind\u00e9fectible \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre les travailleuses et travailleurs et \u00e0 combattre les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s, o\u00f9 qu\u2019elles se manifestent.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Cathy a commenc\u00e9 son parcours syndical en 1994 lorsqu\u2019elle est devenue membre de l\u2019Alliance de la Fonction publique du Canada (AFPC). Anim\u00e9e par le d\u00e9sir de lutter contre les injustices en milieu de travail et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les conditions des travailleuses et travailleurs, elle est devenue d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9e syndicale en 1999 avant d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e9lue pr\u00e9sidente de sa section locale en 2009. En 2017, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue vice-pr\u00e9sidente des Fonds non publics, repr\u00e9sentant les membres des FNP de partout au pays au sein de l\u2019Ex\u00e9cutif national de l\u2019UEDN.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Forte de 35 ann\u00e9es de service aupr\u00e8s de son employeur, Cathy a \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9moin, de premi\u00e8re main, des d\u00e9fis auxquels sont confront\u00e9s les employ\u00e9s des FNP. Son implication syndicale est n\u00e9e de sa frustration devant les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s grandissantes et de sa d\u00e9termination \u00e0 faire en sorte que tous les membres soient trait\u00e9s avec \u00e9quit\u00e9 et respect.
