GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The GM meeting is at 1630hrs on Thursday April 14, at the Petawawa Legion.

RENFREW DISTRICT LABOUR COUNCIL

The next Renfrew District Labour Council meeting date and location is to be obtained by the President and the executive will be advised.

LABOUR DAY EVENT

The 2nd vice is still working on quotes for a UNDE / PSAC display tent and will provide information to the executive once he has them.

PHOENIX PAY SYSTEM

The president wanted to make us aware of problems with members not being paid or incorrectly paid and to advise them to contact him with issues or concerns.

EDUCATIONAL TRAINING

The president is going to confirm the 2nd vice’s name has been added to attend the Health & Safety Conference in Ottawa on May 2nd and 3rd.

The president is still attending the Local President’s Conference in Ottawa on May 5th and 6th.

PUBLIC SERVICE WEEK

The 1st vice was requested from members to ask if we will be participating in PSW. The president stated the position of national is to recommend to our local membership UNDE employees not participate in PSW as a show of support for collective bargaining rights.
